Florida Pro Movers & Home Solutions is expanding our elite residential and commercial moving roster across Daytona Beach and Central Florida. We are looking for dependable, hard-working subcontractors to fulfill dispatch work orders on a flexible rotation based on your weekly availability.

Whether you want consistent weekend runs or full-time volume, we provide the steady flow of booked jobs so you can focus on the work.

Responsibilities:

• Active Execution: Execute moving work orders safely and efficiently as a runner, furniture wrapper, loader, or stacker.
• Property & Item Protection: Blanketing, shrink-wrapping, pad-wrapping, and strap-securing furniture, artwork, and specialty goods to prevent any transit damage.
• Heavy Lifting: Safely lift, carry, load, and stack 50–75+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day, including tight staircases and narrow hallways.
• Customer Care: Uphold our white-glove, humble customer service standard on every property.

Reliable subcontractors have immediate room to step into a high-earning Crew Lead & Driver position.

What We Look For in a Lead:

• #1 Priority: Total reliability, trustworthiness, and a proactive willingness to go the extra mile for every client when possible.
• Team Synergy: Ability to lead and coordinate on-site positions (runners, wrappers, loaders, stackers) smoothly and respectfully.

Lead Responsibilities:

• Pre- & Post-Trip Truck Inspections: Daily safety checks, mileage tracking, and ensuring all dollies, straps, pads, and ramps are stocked and secured.
• Walk-Through & Inventory Audit: Conducting initial client walk-throughs to verify items against the moving inventory and scope of work before lifting a single box.
• Paperwork & Logistics: Managing bills of lading (BOL), noting preexisting damage, documenting job details, and coordinating final payment collection upon completion.
• Safe Transport: Driving commercial box trucks safely to and from sites. (Pays premium rates for drive time).

• Transportation & Reliability: Must have reliable personal transportation to report to local staging points and job sites on time.
• Screening Standards: Must pass a background check, clean driving record check (MVR), and basic credit check.
• DOT Compliance: Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a DOT drug screening / medical card exam.
• Subcontractor Status: Valid government ID, active phone with data, and basic personal moving gear/tools (gloves, hand tools for light disassembly/assembly). Assistance provided for General Liability & Florida Workers' Comp Exemption.
• Work Ethic: Strong physical stamina, positive communication, and pride in protecting client belongings.
